Red Pine Winery

Red Pine Winery is a family-owned farm winery in Isanti County, Minnesota, just off Highway 65 between Cambridge and Isanti. The property has been in the family for more than a century; the namesake red pines were planted by hand in the 1950s, and the first vines went into the ground in 2013, with the current five-acre vineyard established in 2014. The winery now grows over 1,600 vines of Itasca, Frontenac Blanc, Marquette, and Crimson Pearl, along with La Crescent and fruit for future non-grape wines. It produces small batches of handcrafted wine with minimal processing, using estate-grown and local fruit when possible, and also makes some wines from California grapes. Visitors can taste indoors or on the patio year-round, with wine by the glass, guided tastings by reservation, and a vineyard wagon tour that ends with a hosted tasting. The tasting room also serves charcuterie and other food. Because resident animals roam freely, only human guests are permitted on site.
