Redneck Wine

Redneck Wine LLC is a small fruit winery that began as home brewing when a friend could not find blueberry wine and has since become a licensed producer. The name comes from the signature red label around the neck of each bottle. The operation draws on family tradition, updating the founder's grandfather's recipes to work with modern equipment and using locally sourced produce tied to the farming history of Colrain, Massachusetts. The winery is relocating from Colrain to Dungannon, Virginia, where it intends to operate a larger facility and eventually hire employees. Its wines are made from fruit rather than grapes, including blackberry, raspberry, black raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, strawberry, plum, mango, cucumber, and olive. The maple wine uses locally sourced maple syrup, and the black raspberry wine is a limited run made from wild berries. While the winery itself is in transition, the wines remain available at retail locations in western Massachusetts.
