River's Edge Winery

River's Edge Winery is a locally-focused winery located on the north bank of the Umpqua River in Elkton, Oregon, within the Elkton AVA. Founded in 2000 by Mike and Vonnie Landt, the winery is dedicated to producing environmentally sustainable wines from extremely local grapes. The Landts purchased two existing vineyards, Black Oak Vineyard and Elkton Vineyard, which were planted in 1972, and constructed their winery on the western edge of Elkton. River's Edge Winery sources all its grapes from within the Elkton AVA, emphasizing the importance of locally grown and sustainably made wines. The winemaking team has evolved over the years, with Tyler joining as Assistant Winemaker in 2014 and becoming head Winemaker in 2017, and Colin taking on the role of General Manager in 2017. River's Edge Winery's commitment to sustainability and local sourcing is reflected in its practices and wine production.
