Rodney Strong Vineyards is a Sonoma County winery known for its estate-grown, single-vineyard Cabernets that showcase the region's unique terroir. Founded over 60 years ago by Rod Strong, a celebrated American dancer who turned to winemaking as a second passion, the winery has been at the forefront of innovation in Sonoma County. Rodney Strong was an early pioneer in the region, crafting one of the first single-vineyard Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignons and introducing Pinot Noir to Russian River Valley. Today, the Klein Family, along with Winemaker Greg Morthole and SVP of Winemaking & Winegrowing Justin Seidenfeld, continue this legacy by farming 12 exceptional estate vineyards across Sonoma County. The winery's focus on estate quality allows for meticulous control over fruit quality, resulting in world-class wines that embody the region's unique characteristics. Visitors can experience Rodney Strong's award-winning wines and scenic vineyards through various tasting experiences at their Healdsburg Tasting Room, which offers indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are required for visits Thursday to Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last reservation at 3:30 p.m.
