Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery

Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery was founded in 2004 by Livermore locals Nancy and Garry Rodrigue, who reclaimed land from 120-year-old dormant vineyards in the Livermore Valley. They began with Cabernet Sauvignon and soon expanded into Italian and French Bordeaux-style wines; Barbera became their first Italian single varietal and helped establish the winery's focus on hard-to-find varietals. Today the portfolio includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, and Fiano. Tastings take place in a rustic tasting room and across a secluded California native, drought-resistant garden, where tables sit in shaded, intimate corners spaced apart from one another. Guests can bring a picnic and, when booking, select their preferred table. The winery also runs a wine shop and a wine club that offers members special events and early notice of sales, low-inventory wines, and one-of-a-kind releases.
