Round Lake Vineyards & Winery

Round Lake Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned and operated winery on scenic Round Lake in Southwest Minnesota, just south of I-90. Planting began in 2007, and the property now grows more than 19,000 vines across four vineyards in seven blocks. The original plantings of La Crescent, Frontenac Gris, and Marquette remain central to the lineup, while later additions include St. Pepin, Brianna, Petite Pearl, Sabrevois, King of the North, Petite Amie, Frontenac Blanc, Louise Swenson, and Itasca. The vineyards sit on rich black soils streaked with sand and gravel, with a south-facing sandy-loam slope that was once pastureland providing drainage and varied growing conditions. The winery offers tastings at its wine bar and hosts regular events such as live music and wine pairing dinners. Visitors can join the Flock Wine Club, which ships quarterly selections in dry, choice, or sweet tiers and includes discounts and member-only access. Round Lake Vineyards also hosts weddings and private events in its Ballroom and Vineyard reception spaces and participates in the Harvest Hosts program for self-contained RVers.
