Ruby Magdalena Vineyards is a boutique vineyard and winery located in Zillah, Washington State, specializing in Spanish grape varieties grown using an Earth-friendly style. Founded in 2007 with a passion for farming and love of wine, the family-owned estate focuses on ecological regeneration and sustainability. The winemaking philosophy prioritizes quality and complexity in every bottle, with a commitment to continuous improvement. Marty Johnson, Winemaker and Co-Owner, brings extensive experience, having begun his journey in the late 1970s evaluating Bordeaux wines. Ryan Johnson, Executive Director and Co-Owner, oversees operations. The vineyard cultivates five Spanish grape varieties: Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha Tinta, Alvariño, and others. Visitors can schedule weekend vineyard tours by appointment only, with plans to open a tasting room in Spring 2023, offering an opportunity to relax and try the estate wines.
