Rued Winery

The Rued Winery is situated in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California, where the family has been rooted in winegrowing for nearly 150 years. Founded by Henry Rued in 1876, who immigrated from Switzerland to pursue his passion for grape growing, the winery has evolved into a multi-generation family tradition spanning three respected wine regions: Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, and Alexander Valley. The Rued family currently farms 160 acres of vineyards across these regions, cultivating six varietals of grapes. Steve and Sonia Rued, who met while working at Dry Creek Vineyard, have been instrumental in carrying on the family legacy, with Steve serving as winemaker and Sonia contributing to their winemaking expertise. The Rued Winery produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah, which reflect the character of Sonoma County.
