Ryme

Ryme Cellars is a winery founded in 2007 by Ryan and Megan Glaab, who met while working as seasonal cellar hands at Torbreck Winery in Australia. The couple has a combined experience working at various notable wineries, including Pax Wine Cellars, Peay Vineyards, Sine Qua Non, and Marcassin. Initially producing small quantities of Aglianico, Vermentinos, Ribolla Gialla, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Aglianico, they expanded their portfolio in 2011 to include Sonoma County Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards. Ryme's winemaking philosophy is centered around creating honest and expressive wines that showcase the characteristics of each variety and its place of origin. The winery is known for its unique blends, such as the Sangiovese Friulano bag-in-box wine, which has been praised by critics like Esther Mobley from the San Francisco Chronicle. Ryme Cellars' wines are estate-grown in Sonoma County, with a focus on producing high-quality, artisanal wines that cater to those seeking something beyond traditional offerings.
