Sanctuary Vineyards

Sanctuary Vineyards is a family-owned winery on a seaside farm in Jarvisburg, on North Carolina's Outer Banks. The estate covers ten acres of vineyards set among hundreds of acres of farmland and wildlife impoundments that the family calls "The Sanctuary." The property grows Syrah, Tempranillo, Viognier, Norton, and classic Muscadine, and produces an award-winning portfolio that ranges from Albariño, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris to Tannat, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet-based blends. Visitors can book tastings at the winery, where a broad range of tasting experiences is offered, and charcuterie boxes are available Friday through Sunday. The winery also runs seasonal tastings at its Cotton Gin locations from May through September. For a distinctive outing, the Vineyard Voyage combines a cruise across the Currituck Sound from Duck to Jarvisburg with a wine tasting. The Bunch wine club provides members with exclusive events, discounts, and semi-annual wine packages.
