Seven Wells Vineyard & Winery

Seven Wells Vineyard & Winery is located in Grants Lick, Kentucky, within the rolling hills of rural northern Kentucky. Founded in 2004 by the Wehrman family, the vineyard began with four hundred grape vines and expanded to five acres over successive years, featuring a diverse range of varietals including Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Traminette, Dornfelder, Noiret, Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, and a brief experiment with Merlot. The winery's viticultural endeavors have resulted in a spectrum of wines catering to various tastes, from full-bodied dry reds to sweet whites. Their tasting room is open Friday through Sunday, offering wine tastings, cheese trays, and beer, as well as scheduled dinners and live music events. Tours of the winery are free upon request. The property's name, Seven Wells, originates from a family history: the Wehrman farm was once comprised of seven adjacent parcels of land, each with its own house and well, which remain today under slabs of rock.
