Shea Vineyards

Shea Vineyards is a prominent vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon, with 140 acres planted to Pinot Noir and 6 acres of Chardonnay. The property was first planted in the late 1980s and has since grown to 280 acres. Shea Vineyards produces world-class wines under its eponymous label, using 20% of its own Pinot Noir grapes and 33% of its Chardonnay grapes. The bulk of the fruit is sold to top winemakers in Oregon and California. Visitors can experience privately hosted, seated tastings at the winery by appointment. The vineyard's philosophy is reflected in its motto, "All Great Wines Begin In The Vineyard." Shea Vineyards was founded by Dick and Deirdre Shea, who began as growers before transitioning to winemaking.
