Shumaker Vineyards

Shumaker Vineyards, established in 2014, continues a five-generation family tradition of farming and land stewardship in Oregon's north Willamette Valley. The winery is situated within the Tualatin Hills AVA, where its vines grow in unique silt loam soils under the rain shadow of the Coast Range. Shumaker Vineyards practices dry-farming and meticulous hand-tending to produce high-quality grapes, which are transformed into accessible, regional wines showcasing the Willamette Valley's terroir. The winery's signature varietals include Pinot Noir, Rosé de Noirs (a sparkling rosé), and Pinot Gris. After initially selling its fruit to outside winemakers, Shumaker Vineyards began producing wine for its own label in 2021, with the help of Chris James Cellars' winemaker Chris James Barnes.
