Silver Strike Winery

Silver Strike Winery is a family-owned, fully operational winery in Tombstone, Arizona, on historic Allen Street near the O.K. Corral. Its wines are made on site using grapes from the winery's own sustainably grown vineyard and locally harvested varietals. The winery's roots trace back to a spring 1997 trip through Sonoma, when a detour to Russian River Vineyards introduced the owners to biodynamic farming through a conversation with owner Michael Topolos. That experience sparked the idea of combining a vineyard with a family restaurant. A later search for vineyard land led them to Florida, where Bob and Bonnie Paulish of Blue Heron Vineyards shared their knowledge of muscadine grapes and invited them to join a harvest. Visitors are welcomed into the tasting room to sample the wines in the middle of one of Tombstone's most historic streets.
