Sineann Winery

Sineann is a small Pacific Northwest producer founded in 1994 by Peter Rosback and David O'Reilly. Rosback, who made his first Pinot Noir in 1985, continues as winemaker today. The winery is known for intense, almost entirely single-vineyard wines made from low crop levels, with minimal processing and aging in French oak. Pinot Noir remains the main attraction, but the portfolio also includes Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris. The winery sources from six vineyards across the Pacific Northwest, from Washington's Horse Heaven Hills to Oregon's Willamette Valley, including the Zindel Vineyard planted in the 1890s and the old-vine Pines Vineyard near The Dalles. Rosback also makes Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in New Zealand. The tasting room in St. Paul, Oregon offers current releases, estate walks, and the stories behind the labels, open weekends and by appointment. Sineann sells directly through personal inquiry and runs a wine club with Reds Only or All Wines options.
