Springhill Winery

Springhill Bed & Breakfast, Winery & Vineyard occupies an 1857 estate in Bloomfield, Kentucky, a short drive from Bardstown in the heart of Bourbon Country. Jeff and June Daugherty, along with their daughter Mallory, have run the property since September 2020, operating it as a family inn and working winery. The estate includes three acres of vineyard, where the family checks vines by hand and harvests estate-grown grapes, including Chambourcin, for small-batch winemaking; Mallory assists Jeff in the cellar, and the winery has produced award-winning wines. Guests taste in the winery behind the historic house, choosing a seat at the bar or in a cozy seating area, and may stroll through the vineyard. Bottle service is available by the fireplace, on an outdoor courtyard near the pond, or on a covered patio overlooking the vines. Charcuterie boxes and boards, wine slushies, beer, sodas, and candles made from recycled wine bottles are also offered. The property hosts weddings, showers, and private celebrations, and the six-room bed-and-breakfast serves homemade breakfasts.
