Stave & Stone Winery is a family-owned estate located in the Hood River Valley of Oregon, where they have stewarded the land for over 100 years. The winery's 50-acre property features 20 acres of vineyards planted with a mix of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Chardonnay, as well as 3 acres of lavender plants. Visitors can enjoy the estate-grown wines in the winery's tasting room or wine garden, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The Stave & Stone story began in 2004 when the family decided to transition their orchard into a vineyard, planting their first block of Pinot Noir in 2012. The winery's name is inspired by the massive basalt boulders that dot the property, which were removed from the soil to make way for the vineyards. The tasting room and wine garden are open daily from 12-6 PM, with reservations recommended. Visitors can also enjoy live music events in the garden during the summer months.
