Steamworks Meadery

Steamworks Meadery is a meadery owned and operated by Peter "Drea" Paulsen since January 2019, bringing a modern twist to the medieval drink of mead. Located in Medford, Oregon, at 4149 S. Pacific Hwy #545, Steamworks Meadery produces honey-based beverages that fall between cider and wine in terms of sweetness and dryness. Their products are made with local ingredients when available, contain no sulfites or added sugars, and can be found at various locations throughout Jackson County, including Harry and David, Medford Food Co-op, and Oregon Cheese Cave. The meadery's tasting room offers a view of the brewing process and seating for up to 20 patrons, where visitors can enjoy provided board games while sipping on their meads. Steamworks Meadery has been involved in local festivals and pairings with businesses such as the Oregon Cheese Cave.
