Stockwell Cellars is a family-owned and operated boutique urban winery located in Santa Cruz, California, where Eric Stockwell crafts handcrafted unmanipulated single varietal wines using Old World techniques and New World technology. The winery's tasting room, situated at 1100 Fair Avenue, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with local art, relaxing sofas, and dancing firelight, evoking the feeling of gathering at a modern village smithy. Eric, the winemaker and co-owner, transitioned from running his own welding business to pursue his passion for winemaking in the early 2000s, eventually opening Stockwell Cellars in 2014 after years of experimentation and refinement.
