Swiftwater Cellars

Swiftwater Cellars is a winery located at the foot of the Cascade Mountains, situated on the site of an historic coal mine where European-born coal miners made their own wines from local wild huckleberries and blackberries. The winery was founded by Don and Lori Watts, who were inspired to create a venue rich with history and elegance in America after visiting wineries in Europe, South America, and South Africa. Swiftwater Cellars aims to offer an experience on par with the world's finest venues, featuring premium wines made by internationally acclaimed winemakers, sophisticated Pacific Northwest cuisine, and relaxing surroundings with a European sophistication. The winery's atmosphere is described as casual, friendly, and comfortable, making guests feel at home. Tours are available upon request, and visitors can also take advantage of nearby amenities offered by the five-star Suncadia Resort. Reservations for wine tastings and events are recommended, especially for special occasions like Easter Brunch. The winery has recently introduced home rentals through Swiftwater Residences, offering guests a chance to stay on-site and fully immerse themselves in the experience.
