Tabora Farm and Winery

Tabora Farm and Winery is a 100% estate-grown winery located in the Finger Lakes AVA of New York. Founded by Jane and Roger Eatherton in 1989 as Tabora Farm and Orchard, it initially focused on apple cider and seasonal fruit before expanding to include family recipe baked goods and other offerings. The couple later sold the property and established a new venture, Tabora Vineyards, operating a 250-acre farm supplying local and national wine and juice producers in the Finger Lakes region. Now, under the name Tabora Farm & Winery, they have brought back their home-crafted bakery and deli offerings in a converted building with distinctive Cape Dutch architecture reflecting their South African heritage. The winery's current portfolio focuses on native and hybrid varieties, as well as more recently planted vinifera grapes, with minimal intervention winemaking practices to produce clean, crisp, and concentrated wines. Visitors can book tastings and enjoy the winery's deli selection of meats, trays, and lunches, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, alongside fresh breads, cookies, and pies from their bakery.
