For over 45 years, Tom Campbell has adhered to a philosophy of minimal interventionism, focusing on creating concentrated flavors in the vineyard through techniques such as high-density plantings and careful farming practices that prioritize soil health and biodiversity. The winery's unique approach involves composting all skins, stems, and lees, and using small blocks for planting rare grape varieties. This methodology results in wines with depth, finesse, and smoothness. Tanjuli Winery is particularly known for its artisanal production of Carménère and Picpoul Blanc, which showcase the winemaker's ability to coax complex flavors from lesser-known varietals.
