The Country Squire Restaurant, Inn, & Winery sits between Kenansville and Warsaw in rural Duplin County, where it has welcomed guests since 1961. The property blends Scottish heritage with Southern hospitality across its restaurant, inn, and winery, set amid gardens and a vineyard beside the Vintage Inn. The winery produces small-batch artisan wines, including whites such as Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Moscato, and White Merlot; reds including Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot, and Malbec; and specialty fruit and muscadine wines made from strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, pomegranate, raspberry, peach, and Noble, Carlos, and Ison grapes. Tastings take place in the Tartan Tasting Room, a restored 1780s farmhouse, and are offered complimentary.
