The View Winery

The View Winery is a family-owned estate winery located in East Kelowna, overlooking the city and Okanagan Lake. Founded by the Turton/Ward family in 1918, the property has been in their hands for five generations, initially used for growing fresh market apples before transitioning to vineyards and cider apple varieties in the mid-1990s. The winery's portfolio features a range of award-winning cool-climate whites, including Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Ehrenfelser, as well as fruit-forward reds like Pinotage and Pinot Noir. Notably, their rosé has gained popularity, along with the Silver Lining Estate blends and BLING Sparkling Wine, introduced in 2013. Visitors can taste estate-grown wines and ciders in the cellar or explore the winery's wine shop, an eclectic space built from a vintage 1920s-era apple packing house. The View Winery offers daily tastings year-round and hosts events; wine club membership is also available for those interested in regular shipments of their products.
