Tierra De Lobos

Tierra De Lobos is a boutique winery based in Dallesport, Washington, with tasting rooms in Hood River, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. Founded by two wolves, Adolfo and Gabino, the winery began as a dream to escape the Pacific Northwest's rainy climate and find a "little piece of heaven" on the drier side of the Columbia River Gorge. The land already featured 3 acres of established Cabernet Franc and Malbec grapes, which the owners leveraged to create estate wines with minimal intervention. Tierra De Lobos focuses on showcasing the unique characteristics of each grape varietal, sourcing additional grapes from the Columbia Gorge and Washington State. Their signature wines include Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Barbera, and a range of natural sparkling wines, such as their "What the Funk!" Cabernet Franc Pet-Nat. The winery's tasting rooms in Hood River and Vancouver offer a cozy atmosphere, with pet-friendly policies in place during summer hours. Tierra De Lobos aims to treat its land with respect, avoiding chemicals and fungicides in its vineyards, although it is not certified organic.
