Tranche Cellars

Tranche Cellars occupies a unique site in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, east of Walla Walla, with its estate vineyard climbing as high as 1265 feet. This terroir-driven winery is devoted to crafting expressive wines that convey the character of the land. Their flagship reds, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah, are known for their classic varietal characteristics and fine tannins. The estate also boasts 11 acres of Rhône-style white varieties, including Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Picpoul, and Clairette Blanche, which are blended to create the benchmark Pape Blanc. Tranche's vineyards employ sustainable farming methods, with a focus on low yields to maximize fruit intensity and concentration. The winery is steadily moving towards biodynamic viticulture, with all farming and harvesting carried out by hand.
