Trivedi Wine

Trivedi Wine is a family-owned, small farm winery located in Lawrence, Kansas. The winery specializes in crafting wines that appeal to a broad range of tastes, producing a variety of white, red, and rosé wines, as well as carbonated wines and ciders. Maulik Trivedi and Jodi Palmer, both KU graduates, founded the winery after falling in love with German wine culture during a six-week bicycle tour through Germany's wine regions. They returned to Kansas, where Maulik transitioned from a career in biotechnology to enology and viticulture, eventually purchasing a farm in Lawrence and converting it into a vineyard and winery. The vineyard features 352 Chardonel grapevines, a hybrid variety developed from Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc, which thrives in the continental climate of Kansas. Trivedi Wine sources grapes locally as well as from across the country, including upstate New York, Washington, California, and Australia. The winery has established relationships with eight local farmers and honors its community by naming some wines after local landmarks. Visitors can experience the winery at their tasting room, open Fridays 3-8 pm, Saturdays 12-6 pm, and Sundays 12-6 pm, where they may enjoy live music and events amidst a family-owned and operated atmosphere.
