Twisted Vine Family Vineyard

Twisted Vine Family Vineyard is a family-owned and operated winery located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, specifically in Patriot, Ohio. The vineyard was founded by Bill Davis, who planted over 400 grapevines in 2012 as a gesture of love for his wife Mary Ellen, who was away visiting family at the time. Initially, the family made wine in small batches using five-gallon carboys in their kitchen before expanding to ten 120-gallon tanks after attending winemaking seminars and conferences. The vineyard is built upon four generations of land stewardship, with everyone from grandparents to grandchildren involved in the day-to-day operations. Twisted Vine Family Vineyard offers a large selection of wines, as well as artisan cheese trays made with local cheese produced by Laurel Valley Creamery. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00-9:00pm at their tasting room located at 1375 Carter Rd in Patriot, Ohio. The winery's atmosphere is described as welcoming, with a focus on serving customers and friends the best wine they can produce.
