Uva Furem Winery

Uva Furem Winery is a boutique production and cellar winery located in Maple Valley, Washington, established by two Air Force veteran brothers, Jens and T.J. Hansen, in 2018 as the nation's only registered 100% disabled veteran-owned winery. The winery opened its doors on April 1st, 2020, marking the 1000th bonded winery in Washington State. Jens, a seasoned winemaker with experience honed under prominent WA wine industry figures, crafts hand-crafted, artisanal wines that showcase a sense of place and exhibit quality winemaking techniques. The winery sources grapes from various AVAs across Washington state, working closely with small family growers who share their attention to detail. Uva Furem offers a diverse range of high-quality, small-lot wines, each with unique stories behind the names, labels, and production methods. The tasting experience is available at two locations: Maple Valley and Old Town Tacoma, where visitors can enjoy the wines accompanied by tales of veterans' experiences and camaraderie.
