Valcan Cellars

Valcan Cellars is a family-owned winery based in Oregon, founded by Juan Pablo Valot and Doris Cancel in 2012. The winemaking tradition is deeply rooted in the family's heritage, with Juan Pablo coming from a multi-generational line of wine entrepreneurs. With over 20 years of experience in winemaking, including 19 vintages between Oregon and Argentina, Juan Pablo brings a wealth of knowledge to the label. Valcan Cellars focuses on handcrafted wines sourced from selected vineyards in Oregon, reflecting the owners' commitment to quality and terroir-driven wines. The winery's atmosphere is deeply personal, with the logo inspired by petroglyphs from the Arawak tribes, symbolizing the union of Juan Pablo's Argentinian roots and Doris' Puerto Rican heritage. The tasting room in Corvallis offers a unique experience, although currently temporarily closed. Valcan Cellars' wines have received recognition, including a "Best of Show" award for their 2015 Syrah at the 2019 Oregon Wine Competition.
