Van Till Farms

Van Till Family Farm Winery was founded in 2009 by Cliff and Debbie Van Till, who moved from California in 2001 and established the farm on land about 40 miles north of Kansas City, near Excelsior Springs. It was the first farm winery in Missouri to earn Regenified certification, and the farm follows regenerative practices such as adaptive grazing, no-till planting, and limited use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. The winery produces 25 to 30 distinct Missouri wines across the seasons, ranging from dry to sweet, using only Missouri-grown grapes and a minimal-intervention approach. Its restaurant serves wood-fired oven pizza baked in an imported French Le Panyol oven, offered in the Wine Garden on Fridays and Saturdays, along with salads, appetizers, and desserts. Visitors can taste wines in the tasting room, stroll the gardens and grounds, and join the Friends of the Winery wine club, which includes quarterly selections, discounts, complimentary tastings, and an annual members-only barbecue.
