Vie-Del Company

Vie-Del Company is a family-owned grape processor and supplier based in Fresno, California, founded in 1946 by Fred Vieth and Jim Riddell. The company has undergone significant changes over the years, with Mike Nury joining in 1953 as a research chemist and eventually purchasing a minority interest in 1963 after Seagram's and Sons acquired a majority stake in 1957. Today, the Nury family continues to own and operate Vie-Del, which produces bulk juices, concentrates, brandy, wine, and spirits for both domestic and international markets. The company is certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, acknowledging its commitment to sustainability standards and continuous improvement. With two facilities in Fresno and Kingsburg, Vie-Del is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion of its state-of-the-art facility.
