Vinarija Marlais

Winery Marlais is located on the Pelješac peninsula in Croatia, a region renowned for its high-quality wines. The winery is known for producing premium Pelješac wines from autochthonous Dalmatian grape sorts such as Plavac Mali, Rukatac, Pošip, and Dubrovnik Malvasia. The family's vineyards are situated on the southern slopes of the peninsula, where they cultivate 23,000 grapevines across three hectares of land using traditional manual tillage methods. The winery produces around 15-20 thousand bottles and 10 thousand litres of unbottled wine per year. The tasting area at Winery Marlais covers 120 square meters and can accommodate over 50 people, offering a warm personal approach to guests. Visitors can taste the winery's wines, including dry whites, reds, rosés, and sparkling wines, as well as local products such as liqueurs and olive oil. The winery also offers wine tastings by appointment, allowing visitors to see the vineyards and oak barrels in the basement. Accommodation is available on-site for those who wish to stay and enjoy the surrounding area's beautiful beaches and top-quality wine and food. With a history spanning eight generations of wine production, Winery Marlais embodies the traditional way of cultivating land and producing wine that has been passed down through the family.
