Vincent Gaudry

Domaine Vincent Gaudry is a family-run winery located in Sury-en-Vaux, at the foot of the Sancerre hill in the Loire Valley region. The domaine spans 11 hectares and is primarily dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc, with some Pinot Noir also present. Vincent Gaudry began working his father's vineyards at just 16 years old and transitioned to organic and biodynamic viticulture in 1993, earning Demeter certification in 2002 for organics and 2006 for biodynamics. The winemaking process is minimalist, with a focus on allowing the terroir to shine through in the wines. The domaine's philosophy emphasizes harmony between nature and human intervention, reflecting Vincent Gaudry's personal connection to the land as his "garden". Visitors can explore the vineyards, which include some 80-year-old vines, and experience the unique atmosphere of this Loire Valley winery.
