Vineyard of Pasterick

The Vineyard of Pasterick is a family-owned winery nestled on the western hillside of Dry Creek Valley, with a focus on sustainable hillside vineyard farming practices. The estate's ten acres are planted to Syrah and Viognier, with six small blocks of Syrah and five small blocks of Viognier, all carefully managed by Meier Vineyard Management Company. The winery produces approximately 1,000 cases annually of Estate Wines, including hand-crafted Syrah, Viognier, Field Blend Rosé, and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which is blended with a portion of the Estate Syrah. The wines are made using traditional Northern Rhone methods, emphasizing minimal intervention to allow the fruit to express itself in each bottle. The Pasterick family's commitment to sustainability is evident through their certification by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) and their dedication to environmentally sound, economically feasible, and socially equitable practices. The winery's history dates back to 1999 when Diane and Gerry Pasterick purchased the property and began producing wine in 2000. Their daughter Alexis joined the winery full-time in 2013, continuing the family legacy of crafting wine with love and care. The estate vineyard is a beautiful blend of old and new, featuring antique rose plants, Spanish and Tuscan olive trees, fruit trees, an enclosed vegetable garden, and a 'Magic Forest' with majestic redwood trees.
