Vinnie Fera Wine

Vinnie Fera Wine was founded in 2016 in Boulder, Colorado, by Tim Moley, a botanist who trained in wine through Sonoma coursework and vineyard visits across Chile, Piemonte, Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Champagne. Winemaker Kyle Mitchell, a Colorado State University horticulture graduate, sources premium fruit from small-lot vineyards on Colorado's Western Slope and in California and Oregon. Grapes are harvested in the early morning and transported cold to the Boulder winery, where Mitchell guides them from grape to glass using classic winemaking principles aimed at balance, structure, and varietal expression. The portfolio includes Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines, released under both the Vinnie Fera and Hogback labels. Tastings take place at the Boulder tasting room and winery, with additional visits available by appointment.
