Vino Noceto

Vino Noceto is an Amador County winery specializing in Italian varietals, particularly Sangiovese, which it has been producing for nearly four decades. The winery takes an Old-World approach to winemaking, focusing on bright, balanced wines designed to pair with food. Its signature Sangiovese is widely regarded as one of the best in California, earning hundreds of Gold medals and 90+ point reviews from critics such as Bob Thompson, Dan Berger, Mike Dunne, and Narsai David. The winery's estate vineyards in Shenandoah Valley produce over a dozen different Sangioveses, along with other Italian varietals like Sagrantino, Frivolo (a slightly sparkling Moscato), Port, Barbera, Aglianico, Zinfandel from the oldest vines in America, and more.
