Virage Napa Valley

Virage Napa Valley is a winery located in the cooler northeast corner of Napa Carneros, reflecting its philosophy of producing balanced blends that express their place, reminiscent of the great wines of the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Founded by Emily Richer, a farmer at heart with a passion for wines anchored in a specific location, Virage produces wine to share her discovery of those places. With a background in culinary school and 13 years of experience working in Napa Valley wineries, including consulting with several prominent clients, Richer was inspired by the Bordeaux tradition and its art of blending. She launched Virage with a mission to mine the cooler side of Napa Valley using a Right-Bank Bordeaux style blend, grown in hillsides of Northeastern Carneros and other cooler-climate sites. The winery's operation is simple, handcrafting every bottle and hand-packing every shipment, with most wines sold directly to customers.
