Established in 1981 by Steve West, the winery has been producing fine wines from French-American hybrid varietals selected for their cold-hardiness. The vineyard lies in a unique "rain shadow" area, receiving less rainfall than surrounding regions, making it ideal for grape cultivation. Today, the winery is managed by Amanda West and her team, including winemaker Tyler Wilkins. West Whitehill specializes in dessert wines with exceptional flavors and quality, crafted from high-quality fruit products that provide vibrant, authentic flavors.
