Willow Mountain Winery

Willow Mountain Winery is an estate vineyard and winery near Corvallis in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana, set between the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountains at about 3,601 feet of elevation. The twenty-acre vineyard grows on volcanic and granite soils, with irrigation drawn from mountain snowmelt. Founded and run by Roxann and Brian McGuire, the winery produces Montana-made wines from crush to bottle. Roxann, the winemaker, holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology from Washington State University and handles vine selection, wine styles, and production; Brian manages operations and business systems. The team harvests grapes by hand and manages irrigation, canopy, and crop load with a focus on minimal intervention. Wines include estate-grown labels such as the Montana Vineyard Blend of Petite Pearl, Marechal Foch, and Marquette, a Sapphire Sparkling from Frontenac Blanc, St. Pepin, and Prairie Star, and single-varietal Marquette. The lineup also draws on carefully selected vineyards across Montana and the Pacific Northwest for Barbera, Sangiovese, GSM, and rosé blends. Willow Mountain Winery received the 2021 Governor's Choice Best in Wine award.
