Willow Tree Vineyard & Winery

Willow Tree Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned, boutique winery in Ham Lake, Minnesota, just north of the Twin Cities. Jim and Barb Szurek established it in 2003 as a retirement hobby, and it grew into a family business run with help from their son, his family, and friends. The farm has been in the family for more than 48 years, and the winery grows over an acre of cold-climate grapes used for wines made and sold on site only. The tasting room sits inside a repurposed Red Shed, where guests can buy wine by the glass or bottle and sample four wines for $5. There is seating indoors and in several outdoor areas. The property also rents out the entire farm for private events such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties, and corporate gatherings.
