Winehaven Winery

Winehaven Winery is a family-owned, sustainably farmed winery rooted in Minnesota. The winemaking team of father and son Kevin and Kyle Peterson produces reds such as Marquette Reserve, Nokomis, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Pinot Noir, and Merlot; whites and rosés including Itasca, LaCrescent, Edelweiss, Frontenac Gris, and Lakeside Rosé; plus fruit wines, meads, and specialty releases. The winery works with cold-climate grapes developed by the University of Minnesota and has developed two patented varieties of its own: Chisago, grown in the Deer Garden vineyard on the sloping shores of Lake Ellen, and Franconia. Winehaven's Beehive Wine Club ships four automatic six-bottle selections per year, chosen by the winemaker from previous vintages and limited-production wines, and includes access to member-only events.
