Wy'east Vineyards

Wy'east Vineyards is an estate winery located in Hood River, Oregon, within the Columbia Gorge AVA. The winery is owned and operated by Christie and Dick Reed, who founded the business in 1993 after purchasing Blue Chip Farm and Vineyard. The Reeds' passion for wine was sparked by Christie's visit to Bordeaux in 1976, and they have since dedicated themselves to producing high-quality wines from their estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes. Winemaker Peter Cushman joined Wy'east in 2012, bringing with him a deep understanding of the region's terroir and a commitment to showcasing the unique characteristics of the vineyard's fruit. Glen Pearce, who has extensive knowledge of the Gorge wine industry, also contributes to the winemaking process. The tasting room, located at 3189 HWY 35 in Hood River, offers visitors the opportunity to sample Wy'east's wines and experience the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
