Zenaida Cellars

Zenaida Cellars, now operating as PIUS Estates, is a Paso Robles-based winery located in the Templeton Gap area, at the base of the Santa Lucia Coastal Range. The winery's estate vineyard spans 22 acres and employs sustainable farming practices on its 30-acre property. Founded over 100 years ago, the original homestead has been repurposed as the winery's tasting room, which is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tastings are conducted primarily in a partially shaded patio or garden area and cost $40 per flight, waived with a two-bottle purchase. The winery sources high-quality fruit from its estate vineyard and a small group of Paso Robles AVA growers for its wines. Under new ownership since July 2022, local owners Robert Lotierzo and Anthony Versochi bring over a decade of hands-on winemaking experience in Paso Robles to the table. Visitors can join the PIUS Estates Wine Club or shop online through the Zenaida Cellars website, which also features news articles highlighting the Templeton Gap AVA's designation as one of Paso Robles' newest and most notable wine regions.
